Vampire Eye

When one eye is injured Be certain the other is hurt, The connection is certain In flickers of light transferred: Seven days now, My eye is dreading the sun, It was a fight of the last, Nothing left in between but the truth: We should not have fought, We did: I hope we did not bury our love When we buried her mother The week before: Now I am lonely, nursing a vampire's eye It is only comfortable with the night, It shies the sun.
