The things in life that mean the most, Can’t be bought or sold, I boast. Freely given from ones heart, Is what sets these gifts apart. Love and kindness can’t be bought, These valued treasures are widely sought. Giving of yourself only helps you grow, It’s God’s intention don’t you know? Be a friend to those in need, Don’t let your heart be filled with greed. Helping others really helps you too, So set good examples in all you do. Money or friendship if I were given a choice, Friendship would win for money has no voice. Earthly possessions are merely that, When the final day comes who gets the cat? So love your neighbor but not his wares, Be someone with values who really cares.
