Valentine's Night Date

Do I ask do I dare say hi?
I was scared to ask to be
Out with someone so fine.
Hands sweating as I type
And ask her for a date.

Out to dinner we go as friends
Nerves going wild as I see her eyes.
So beautiful in red she dresses
As we share this meal as friends.
Our hearts full of butterflies
Sitting and staring at her eyes.

Minutes turn to hours as we talk
Friends turn into special ones
As sit and dine and talk.
As we leave holding hands as we walk
To a movie to hang.
