Valentine Day
A day to appreciate our dearest ones,
Who fill our lives with joy and fun,
Then bide with us when we are low,
For they somehow seem to know.
Grateful for my friends and pets,
Among life's greatest assets,
Though a sweetheart to hug and kiss,
Would not be at all amiss!
Til then we savor hope of spring,
And the posies, birds and butterflies it brings,
That help our hearts thrive,
So we feel more alive!
