Valentine Blues

You want a little rhyme,
From me to you,
To get rid of your Valentine’s blues.
Well, here it goes:
You came at me like a blow to the head.
I rose back up, to fall down again,
Blown away by your sweet remarks,
Your teased attempts to jumble my thoughts,
Much to our surprise it worked,
And now we’re both hooked.
Completely booked on a ride to the sky,
Our heads held high when we took our dive,
Hand in hand.
We’ll get through this together until our end.
You and I,
Let’s take our time.
And find our way,
To become One on our special day.
