Valentine

You are so very beautiful, 
So luscious and desirous, 
The art and merged epitome 
Of Venus and Osiris. 
You are the very texture 
Of the tapestry of life; 
And all that anyone could want 
From lover, friend or wife. 
You are the sweetest taste of wine 
So pleasing on the tongue; 
You are the most entrancing song 
That ever has been sung. 
You are the sunset far at sea, 
The secret cloak of night; 
You are the dawn of special days, 
The brightest source of light. 
You are the scent of summer breeze, 
The essence of the rose; 
You are the beating heart of life, 
A dream that ever grows. 
You are the mountains and the moon, 
The stars and raging sea; 
You are but love personified 
And everything to me.
