Vagabond Shoes

To travel the world in vagabond shoes
And climb high mountains in countries far
See the wide Alaskan sky with its midnight hues
Stretch my hand out and touch the nearest star
To walk on Spanish soil and rocky shore
And swim Spain's coldest streams meandering by
Know the black and gold of a matador
As they flash their red cape and a bull dies
To sit in Paris and watch women pass
Sip on red grape wine in a small cafe'
Mingle with artist I will not bypass
Have dream filled wishes of wanting to stay

I can do all this while my music plays
In poetic dreams I'll go to Pompeii

Mind if I come along:) I really enjoyed this Frederic. I too have always wanted to go to Alaska and see the northern lights. Good luck my vagabond friend:)
