Vacation From Myself

There are days,
When I feel so used.
Broken in pieces;
shattered, confused.

 A feeling
you cannot shake,
my life is one big mistake.

When people see me
they always say,
I'm carefree and shameless in every way.

But my tears I cry
are on the inside,
my skeltons have yet to subside.

 On these days
of so much confusion
I distance myself
from all heartless illusions.

I take myself away
from all my tears.
And things that where fuzzy
are now so clear.

So in this time
of desperate needs
I take a little time out for me.
