Vacation

The bluest blue
The whitest white
An ocean view that gives delight

The raging winds
The crashing waves
Yet only a true sailor braves

The shining sun
The sky of blue
Your skin turns a red hue

The sandy beach
The palm trees bend
A vacation that will never end.

A wonderful beach poem and i enjoyd the mention of palm trees that we too have here on Dar beaches, it seems like God made them to be natural shades. U have sketched the imagery in attractive poetic way. Nice to read u again.

a cute poem. I was expecting a joke about a sunburn at the end. But it turned into the endless vacation. I would love one of those!!

Thanks Andrea, I guess I could have ended with my sunburned feet that have blisters all over them, but I liked the endless vacation better, less painful:) It was an amazing experience. Janet:)
