Vacation

It’s not a good day for an emergency.
It emerges, anyway.
My therapist has gone on vacation.
So it’s not a good day to storm.
Or even for flowers to bloom.
It’s just not a good day.
My therapist doesn’t check emails on vacation.
It’s not good, good, good…
I have to sleep, have to, have to sleep, alone.
It emerges anyway.
Rocking. Not to sleep, but rocking with eyes open.
My therapist is gone.
I don’t like to bother her, on vacation.
I email her anyway.

I don't suppose mental illness takes a break, but backup really should be in place.
