Vacant Rescue
Don't worry
you only had your life
And what ever sorrow or grief came to me
was not your fault
You see
you could only live your life
and although bound by love we were
you would never really understand
my life
We are alone
it is a hard fact
In the end we are all of us alone
No one else will ever feel
the way you feel
All they will have is an all-purpose word
In a list of words
But you will never feel as they do
and they will never feel like you
In the end we are all of us alone
And only by empathy can we commune
for any love, or any grief
any heart felt anguish
has no equal
it only has compassion with which to contemplate
