Vacant Lot

If I never hear a “Good morning”,
If I never go without the singing flowers,
If I never see another rainbow in the sky,
If I never learn the wisdom of the trees,
Then life is all a vacant lot.

This poem says a lot about the need you have for friendly people. It reminds me of the old song "People Need People."
