Using-Abusing and Excusing
Climbing this wall; till complexions grow pale;
God grant us the courage; for perhaps we will fail.
Climbing and climbing; for it seems quite a while;
And it’s too high to fall off; from this wall of denial.
To complaints one has listened; of being done wrong.
But the lying and cheating; has gone on too long.
Running life’s alleys, so as not to be seen;
There are shouts of delusions; as in some kind of dream.
In a claim to be tired; that denies without substance;
To avoid any violence; one accepts with reluctance.
Bring forth some answers; from which one might learn;
And we’ll rescue this dear one; who’s charred in a burn.
