Useless

What if what was priceless
named its price
If impulsivity stoped to
listened to advice
And what once was was twice.

What if what was at hand
needed a hand?
What was to be couldn't be
If two legs couldn't stand
And all of the earth was a
single grain of sand

What is the ocean without land
?
A star without the sky
a question noone understands
And an answer that didn't know
why

If I was not me
A group had no we
An argument couldn't disagree
And an eye couldn't see

If a story wasn't told
A diamond never sold
origami cant fold
And a child didn't get old

A cry was never heard
A wound never cured
A cross noone could bare
And honesty was unfair.

A microscope that can't focus
A house that's homeless
A marriage that's loveless
A prisoner that's hopeless

Like a eagle that never soared
Feet that never felt the floor
Life can be a bore
When you have touched every
knob and never opened any
door

I guess sometimes wisdom
don't always make sense
Like a treasure that doesn't
have two cents

Not every home has a picket
fence
And many people places and
things feel useless

Useless !!!
