Used To Be

I used to be blind until I met you... I used to be lost until I loved you... I used to cry for hours thinking what will happen I used to sit alone in the dark Right there on the corner Like a wounded bird in a world of cats I feared looking up And see the eyes looking back I used to be hopeless I believed in the dark And never saw the light I watched people passing by laughing ... I never knew that feeling I used to sit and stare and wonder Look at the moon and see my reflection We both sat alone in this dark world And never met the sun that would light it up I called for help but there was no answer No one looked back and saw me stumble on the way… Until an eye Stared back at my lonely soul Made me feel a slight burn in the heart That eye I remember Broke the cage of my heart And bread the flame of love You came to me when everyone left Gave me a hand that everyone hid You held me up high and into your arms I sat I wondered was this real? But I didn't care All I cared is being in your arms... being with you A dream or not I will always hold that moment tight You have came and taught me a new feeling A feeling that gave me strength to stand up again and fight for my reasons A feeling that made me see the bright colors of the world A feeling that killed the loneliness I have lived You gave me… Love
