Us Against Them
Many don't get this
Many WONT get this
And that's what the problem is
Because that problem "is"
. . . This . . .
There is no them, there is no us
Because without "them" there can't be an us
But we play the blame game
And we can't blame us
Cause it's got to be them it just can't be us?
So we cuss and discuss
We discuss and then cuss
Cause we just can't blame the ones that we all call"us"
So at the end of the day, we just play the blame game
But the problem remains
And it still looks the same
And thru language restraints
And moral constraints
The cry of my heart still screams "it's a ____ shame!!
One Man came
And He took all the blame
The "us" and the "them" to Him were the same
While we argued and scoffed
He took all the shame
We spit in His Face and agreed on that day
The us and the them found someone to blame
Crucify Him
Was the theme of that day
So we sacrificed Him and we all played the game
The sin of the world on His shoulders laid
We looked and agreed we all were the same
And then 3 days later He busted our game
Our penalty paid He rose up from the grave.
Come unto Me is His Heartfelt refrain
While religion still screams it's "us" against "them"
Republicrats Democrats in their delimm . . .
a Masking the real problem. . . .
Honestly . . .
It's us against Him
And however we play it
The cross it still wins
He loves all of "us" to Him there's no "them"
I hope we finally get that before He calls "us" in.
