Us

The grey clouds
Reflect my mood
Dismal and dark
They hover over me menacingly
They remind me how I feel
I want to forget you
Your existence
Your being
Your love
I remember
Us

Crucified by your absence
My heart stops when I hear your name
The memories of us
Laughing all the time
Kissing your soft red lips
I want to forget
Your kiss
Your lips
You
But I remember
Us

Pain so intense
Burns my heart to dust
I want to forget your smile
Your body
Your scent on my skin
I still smell you
Feel you here
And I cry
As I remember
Us
