Ur Birthday

Like the sun’s rays
You have shined the brightest
Like the seed of a shoot
You have grown for the greater purpose
Like the years you have to go
You stand out in ur uniqueness
Like the praise of a song
You have always stood for what you have believed in
And now you have repead what u have sown
So I ask,
What use is friendship?
When were filled with bitterness
What use is a smile?
When there is no flower to assist its welcoming
What use is a hug?
When our skins barely touch and our hearts remain stone
What use is a tear for a hurt soul?
When our minds care only for ourselves
But what use is a girl like you for me,
Everything your my best, ur my buddy!

I like the flow of this poem. The rhetorical questions really give it a special spark. The narrative flow is right on point for the type of reality poem. Great job! ~Joseph
