Notes About The Poem

Do you tuly think, I should rename this one? Or make some changes to it? It kinda sounds, as if someone lives on a mountain.

Upon Lasagna

Upon Lasagna,
All splattered with sauce,
I lost my poor meat ball,
When somebody sneezed.
It rolled off the table,
And on to the floor,
And then my poor meat ball,
Rolled out of the door.
It rolled in the garden,
And under a bush,
And then my poor meat ball,
Was covered in leaves
The leaves were surrounded
By slugs
And then the next summer,
It grew into a tree.
The tree was all covered,
All covered with moss,
And on it grew meat balls,
And tomato sauce.
So, if you eat lasagna
All splattered with sauce,
Hold on to your meat ball,
Whenever you sneeze.

What a delightfully silly, storybook-style poem! The escalating journey of the runaway meatball, culminating in a tree that grows meatballs and tomato sauce, is wonderfully imaginative and ends with a perfect playful warning.🍝
