Uplifting Chimes

Heard all from yesterday ,but today I do not hear
I had seen what was ,but today it does not appear
I felt the boldness within, but today I am too meek
I was strong to hold up and pray, but now I am weak.
chimes of melancholy seasons the silent night
visions of the stairway appear under a glowing light
all feelings of desperation have moved along
today I am under his hand and forever I will be strong.
there for the grace of God go I
the days before have all gone by
time before today was ever fulfilled
now I will have strength again to rebuild.
those walls of adversities were often too high
but by leaps and bounds I managed to get by
never look back at what was or could have been
today is the start of everything that’s about to begin.
I heard what was missed, for now I have great ears
I can see what I was blinded to in all of those years
now fortified to mend all of loose ends
bringing forth a new life that now begins.
