Uplift My Blues

Like a bat, I fly in lands not my own
I flutter into the unknown
In a black hole in space…
Embrace me now…
Give me glorious grace…
Show me somehow…

I’m a legit poet…
I’m not up in the charts, posting youtube videos everyday
But, I try and be a positive outlet
Positively negative…but, I let go and let live

I try to be positive, hopeful
Not negative, not-so mopeful
Arrogance and pride isn’t on my mind
Humility and numbness left me behind

Drums...get the beat in…
Violins…strum on – the strings are thin
Guitar…strum me now, you got me this scar…
I’m still God’s number 1 STAR

Laziness and craziness and up in here, in a daze
I like to star gaze in a lightyear moment
Graze in your own maze, graze in your own maze
Stop being neglectant and start being acceptant

I have no idea what these weirdos are talking about
I’m just sitting here, out and about…not making any attempt to shout
Blogging here and there…these guys just look at me…
I’m a dream, becoming a nightmare…don’t look at me…
I’m ugly
I’m ugly
Can’t you see?
I want to be priceless
Relieve me from distress

Uplift my blues
Uplift my blues
You are my muse
Whatever way you choose
You are my muse
You are my muse
But, that’s just my normal, yet weird adoration news
