Upgrade
Upgrade! Upgrade! Upgrade!!!
Dig a big hole with your garden spade,
Pick up your computer, and throw it in.
It’s got as much use as an old jam tin.
The upgrade you bought, just a year ago
Must now be upgraded, cause it’s much too slow.
And the bugs that it fixed, gave birth to new bugs
Gate’s knows we’ll upgrade, the world’s full of mugs
To learn the new Windows, is always a pain
For you know next year, you’ll upgrade again.
What you knew so well, has all been changed.
It take’s a year to get your mind rearranged
To help you along, you’re sold a big book
But to find what you want, there’s nowhere to look.
It doesn’t matter, if you don’t understand,
There’s always an upgrade at Ten Thousand Rand.
One final tip, if your screen is blank,
Don’t think of an upgrade, or rush to the bank.
Don’t get your computer, and into a big hole lower
Just put in the plug, and switch on the power.
The children we have, are bigger and stronger
They learn quicker, while we take longer.
As we get old, we become very slow
One day they’ll upgrade us, we all have to go
Upgrade! Upgrade!
One day they’ll upgrade us, we all have to go
