Notes About The Poem

Up To the Gods

A chance to play the cards life dealt you hope for once to beat the odds. Your heart says yes; because it felt a chance to play the cards life dealt. You knew a dream, like ice, could melt, and so it was up to the Gods. A chance to play the cards life dealt, you hope, for once, to beat the odds.
