Up the Villa
In the heart of the city, where legends embark.
Stands the famous old stadium, they call Villa Park.
A club full of honours, with a history so rich.
I'm proud when I see Aston Villa on the pitch.
From the very old days in the lower divisions.
These days you'll remember if you are a villain.
Our team Aston Villa, greatest team in the land.
It's give me great pleasure to see Villa firsthand.
With a lion on our badge, which is both proud and both bold,
A tale of glory, forever retold.
Those famous old colours of claret and blue.
Who even conquered Europe in 1982.
Through highs and lows, we stand by your side.
Through thick and thin, we are part of the pride.
To the glory of triumph, in fierce competition.
A club that runs deep with so much tradition.
As we stand on the terrace, supporting our team.
Whilst watching The Villa fulfilling our dream.
It's such a great feeling to hear those lion's roar.
Villa score, Villa score. If you can get one, you'll get more!!!
From the roar of the crowd to the thrill of the dream.
League founders of football, are my football team.
With claret and blue blood that runs through our veins.
This famous old club will always remain.
So here's to our heroes, both present and past.
The pride of the Midlands, our legacy's cast.
These Heroes and Villains, I must underlie.
Keep flying the flag with Holte Enders in the sky.
