Mike Liquori Poet Free verse

Up All Night

I was up all last night,
Could not sleep with my eyes open tight,
Went down the stairs to see what to do,
There was my dog,
not sleeping too...
Out to the porch,
I sit on the couch while
Buster boy jumped up,
and we sat for a bunch,
Starring at the cloud stared night, 
when we awoke,
the sun was beating down,
so much no sleep,
we both felt like we wanted to eat!
