Up a Poet Tree

Many falls coming swiftly

Branches shooting the breeze

Words blowing in wind

Dropping lines like leaves

"A poem to me is the essence of any thought,
Being built from its foundation into tower scraping sky.
It can fly like no other bird to places never seen,
Even spaceships can only dream of taking its place."

Thanks Dave, but could you please explain why every month I receive an email with 100 best poems in past month, and you and Tim Smith, and especially APoetdestroyer are always at top of list? I am no where to be found every month, I consider this a popularity clique contest at the best and a complete sham at the worst! Sorry, but the truth does hurt! Robert
