Unworthy Servant
Believe it or not he is often not even around
Given all he's got, still nowhere to be found
And when he does show it's when he decides
Yet quick to go with all those things he hides
He always says he will but he rarely ever does
Like he's standing still in being the way he was
Doing for himself mostly, not one who serves
Thinking no one can see and that he deserves
He never sings any praise or even a thank you
Continuing in ways that we all know aren't true
And his Master knows too, for He is most aware
In servants what truly shows is the level of care
Maybe tomorrow he will see and change his way
The One on who he relies is the One he'll betray
But by His great Mercy and a Love that is divine
He still loves me with all these problems of mine
Psalms 57:10
For thy mercy is great unto the heavens,
and thy truth unto the clouds.
