Unwanted Whispers

The echo of the nothingness inside my weary brain Causing catapults of emptiness hollow is my pain Leaving me with the redness of agonizing shame Myself being the only one for which is who to blame Whispers of the softest birds that fly from ear to ear The creation of the voice unheard is all I choose to hear Mimicking the broken spirit fading from white to clear Shivering the core of all the courage that I hate to fear
