Notes About The Poem

UNWANTED

All along

in the crowd,

justice standing—

seeking

someone to please:-

Like a lonely fish,

swimming

in a school-group,

she bites

a baited hook;

and reeled in,

she’s scaled,

unhooked,

and thrown back:

despised and

unwanted:-
