Unveiling Me

trijan refrain

Some reject God; some shun the Christ;
some will spurn the Spirit.
Humanism entices men
endorsing self-merit.
Who condemns us with profane awe
vainly hoping we'll break God's law?
    Who condemns us?
    Who condemns us?
Who makes the dare, hopes we'll withdraw?

There is no such condemnation
for those who walk with God.
His Spirit within - salvation's
protection, proof and prod.
God's on our side, He glorified
Christ, the one who was crucified.
    God's on our side
    God's on our side
predestined, called and justified.

The Spirit checks our heart for zeal
to be Christ's fellow heir.
He secures our mind with God's seal,
and pleads for us in prayer.
Spirit of life when faith is weak,
the breath of Christians so unique.
    Spirit of life
    Spirit of life
pronounces life when God we seek.
