When I read this poem,I remembered the story of Peter Pan. Peter lost his shadow and Wendy sewed it to him. When I was a kid, I wondered why Peter was so frightened just about losing a shadow. Now I think yes,I must remember my darkness sometimes.

I like this poem, very much, but may, I suggest that it is a Senryu, as a Haiku is of nature and Senryu is of human conditions, however, I think it is just wonderful, and rated it a 7... Constance
