Untitled

Frozen in time
You thought it would
Save us from the pain of tomorrow
Melting in warm pacific tide
Just to see your smile
Broken.

Littered along polluted Sands
Calming seas bleached green w/ ink
Letters smeared into a
Colorful Oblivion

I tricked you to pick a
California Poppy
Ground came unglued
Forgive me father for i have sinned
From your son; twice removed.

The sun sits atop laurel stems
outstretched palms
A sunflower
Searching for a grasp of azure
Now and again rights and wrongs cut souls...
Mirrors looking up at me
Glass around my feet
