Untitled

Oceans divide us but I can feel the throbbing,
of his heart where sadness is now dwelling
His trembling lips whispering a sweet smile,
but his eyes betraying a sorrow and heavy sigh.

My fingers longing to reach and touch his hand
and to share with the loneliness of this man
It pains me here that I am helpless somehow
when I want is to stand next to him right now.

Author's Note:

I have written this short poem for someone special.
I'd like to express through this that I was with him
at times that he was deeply mourning. I thought
of sending this to him but I never did. He may or may
not be able to read this at all. I will leave it to fate.
