Untitled

I want to shut my eyes and dream
floating, lifting the pressure off my spine
I want to exist without necessity
free from desire—from expectation
and yet I do,
exist.
painfully so
I’ve become my wost nigtmare
like my father- a cynic
but without children or excuse
a blameless grey blob in search of the edge
to plunge into the next dimension
where I am nameless and free
and yet still,
I exist.
