Untitled

The thick heavy coat of my worries,
             is weighing me down,
Clinging down to the bottom of a frozen lake.
Why can’t I slip this off and free myself?
Self inflected agony,
the panic of forgetting how to breathe.

I wish we could all slip out of the coat and free ourselves. Welcome to poetry soup!
