Untitled
My eyes bleeds memories which tastes like salt and water staining my skin
I sit with your ghost in my dark room and go through our pictures when we we used to laugh so hard at the thought of us ever being apart.
You said you would kill me if I ever left you,
but you never warned me that you would do that by living inside my mind all the time instead of using a knife in my body.
The flowers I gave you withered in autumn like the love you had for me,
But I have loved you since summer when the sun used to kiss your face.
If I could go back and reverse time I would write our story again with the ending same, only to end up in grief and vain.
But this time I will not burn the letters and stare at our photographs instead I will be the grave you bring flowers to and the memory which haunts you so that you would know the taste of my grief of being alone in nights like these
The grave will have my body but my soul will live inside you.
