Untitled

I grew up way before my time
Taking on motherly duties as if these kids are mine
Helping Grandma out when papa died
Helping Aunties smile when they feel down
Talking to uncles every now and then
Befriending sisters 'cause
Fathers not around

But through all my learning they never
Taught me how
To Be A Teen
Someone help me please.....

Being a teen myself who had to grow up too fast, I know kind of what that's like. This was a great write. Thanks for your comment on my piece, it's hard letting go, letting all the hurtful feeling out in the open to the person who hurt you, but I'm ready to do it, and you will be able to too :) Keep writing, Blessings, ~Michaela~
