We built paper planes to fly us to a heaven we never knew Sandcastles for us to rule as King and Queen We gazed the stars as we set our hearts to the moon Played kitchen as we went out starving Never did doubt if we ever could make it, For we were born in the dark The only light we knew was that fire we set In the cold - the warmth we knew was from the hugs we gave What more could we ever lose?
