Until You Left

You really think you have it all
When you're in love
He brings you roses
He buys you candy
He adores you...
Until one day it all changes
He doesn't feel the same
And he leaves you, your heart torn out
Bleeding to death
Laying cold in the ditch
It's possible to recover...
But it's not easy
What you did to me was wrong
I hate you for that
But I also have to thank you
For making me the most important woman in the world
Although it was only for a short time
I will always love you,
Even though you never did me

Logan - I hope this didn't really happen to you! But it's a moving poem anyway, and I like it. Welcome to poetry soup. (I guess I can say that - I'm new too.) And congratulations on best new poet!
