Until We Are Strangers No More

You do something to me I just can’t explain
A feeling I know cannot last
We both know this moment is all we will share
For us there’s no future, no past

Lying beside you so lost in this feeling
I give you my sweet surrender
Closing our eyes, feeling alive
Making a night to remember

Just one night, one moment in time
Somewhere between right and wrong
Though tomorrow will take you away from me
Back to where you belong

You took my fantasies; made them all real
I’m so glad you walked through my door
Don’t let me go, make love to me baby
Until we are strangers no more

I wish I could love for just one more night
Hold you for just one more day
But what we are feeling has no chance live
We both know that you cannot stay

We had an amazing once in a lifetime
But can’t live on let’s pretend
I pray for the strength to walk away
For here, the dream has to end

So hold me close till the morning light
Let the whole world fade from sight
Even if love must say goodbye
We had forever in one night

We lived for the moment, we loved for one night
For no one is promised tomorrow
But consequence never leaves you without
Bringing tears, the pain, the sorrow

To lose you will surely be painful, but
To keep you, I know would be wrong
I must let you go...not hold you back
From somewhere you might belong

Now you are gone, like you never were here
I know we were never to be
But I can still feel you and always I’ll know
Part of you will live in me...
