Until the Sun Rises Red

~ I feel it again... It's the pain that engulfs and keeps all my daydreams asleep on the shelf I had shaken it off with the rise of the sun but it comes back, again to the dark, where it's from The grief that will come in the thick of the night, constricts all the air right out of my lungs. It creeps up the stairs where the corners are bare and fills them with ghosts of a yesterday, gone I hear the old weeping and the sounds of goodbye that comes while I'm sleeping, and leaves me to cry I feel the same dread at the foot of my bed And grief lingers with me until a sun rises red __________________________________ Inspired by the contest: " The Pain In The Night" Sponsor: Tammy Reams 3/8/15
