Untalented

Lone dove sits on twigs;
Has no carpentry talent.
Dove nest blows away.

Doves untalented,
Birth their young with lots of luck;
God smiles upon them.

We had a pair of ring-neck doves here and they built their nest in the trees then there were two pair and then there were three pair but now I don't see them anymore. I don't know what happened to them. I enjoyed them so much for they were so different from the common ground dove. Thanks for stopping by my page. Sara Login to Reply M. L. Kiser Date: 8/11/2018 1:21:00 PM Yes, they are life mates but, it's the male that sits on the eggs until they hatch, while the female hunts for food to bring back. The female also builds the nest.
