Unsurpassed

Painfully weary mind of mine
so far from peace and so undermined

Elongated, dark, restless nights
haggard eyes and feeble body from tumultuous fights

Agonizing anguish now beginning to abate
taking a closer walk with thee, now I'm energized, upright
   and straight

Christ burning deep within my soul
now, divine light shines my path like a street of gold

Everlasting joy beautifully playing in my life
I'm singing, praising, and dancing away strife
