Unstretched: In Love With a Stranger

I'm in love with a stranger- So much so that even these unknown streets seem familiar. I'm knee deep and my heart is bleeding on my sleeve but I don't mind, In fact my mind feels free for the first time in a long time. I'm getting visions, hallucinations of her dancing on the pavement next to me- I see her everywhere- notes of her laughter are floating through the air… I want to ask her to dance with me- I'll twirl her in circles in the drizzle till the world spins us round its axis And drops us off, dizzy, wherever she wants to be- We won’t be thinking about tomorrow tonight, Just her and I and how the stars seem to be aligning just right- She'll take my hand and I’ll show her not all boys are blasphemous in their intentions…. If she decides to say no, I hope she lets me down easy… I won't know if I'll get the chance to try till she answers this with a no or a yes but, Until then, I'm in love with a stranger, and I'm hoping for tomorrow again.
