Unspoken Dance

In the schoolyard rain, you danced with delight, A vision of joy in silver twilight. From the bus window, I watched you leap, Fearing to be judged as a creep. Wanting to run, enjoy with you, Once again terrified to screw. Years passed, still the heart aches, Why does this memory stays? Drops on the glass were my tears, Couldn’t approach even after so nears. The bus engine lurched to life, a reluctant retreat, Your figure grew smaller, the moment bittersweet. Wishing to see you, once again in the rain, But I know it’s all in vain.
