Unspoken

Actions can speak louder than words like I always knew
Little torn and frayed at the edges I found you
The sadness in your eyes makes me blue
My heart went all out you gave me something new
I’ll take care of you my darling Bud
If only you knew
You sit quietly by the window 
While I let you mend
I slowly see the sparkle return to you
When I walk in through the door
You look at me once more
For you knew the love between us is true
I’ll take care of you my darling Bud
If only you knew
Two years have passed and we carry on
Not knowing how to react to the new you
I am now frayed at the edges and mend 
When I set my eyes on you.
