Unsettled

You were laid On the bed that was made For your eternal sleep As you lie When you're starting to die You begin to believe That a lie Was all that you were And all that you are And you cringe That this might just be true And the thought of you Leaving alone Would keep you awake forever As you dream In your head, in your mind You fear you will never wake Recollect And recall memories And they were all lies You would die For someone they were And someone they are And you laugh For trusting their words And their gratitude Leaving alone Would keep you awake forever
