Unrestrained Glee

I mark the retreat with unrestrained glee Every day I wake up to see the snow receding farther from me Yesterday the sidewalks were suddenly clear today patches of grass have dared to appear Tomorrow, who knows, flowers may begin to grow a sign that we're ready ~ for the next round of snow

LOL. I relate gw. My lillies of the valley have popped their little white buds, the jasmine has forgotten the ice, and even my Christmas cactus is thinking of making another go of it. They will be surprised I fear, not of snow, but of freeze. laf :)

Yeah, we've had a couple of bursts. Overall though, we're far below our average snowfall figures, which is FINE with me! :)

Our students came to school in flipflops and short shorts today - it is supposed to be a high of 61. Give me a break! This reminded me of what we had last week though and the week before.

Good. Enjoy! In Chicago in March of 2012, there were eight 8! days in the low 80's. It was delightful.
