Unrequitted

Amidst the rumbling of the cloud
Got lost the soft music of the drops
Though I belong to you pleaded the drop
My love goes unheard O cloud.
When you are quiet
And seek my voice soothing
I fear I would be dead
Beating my head on rocks unrelenting

I am enjoying reading the very diverse poetry here this morning in my Soupland. Words pouring onto paper from poets souls. What a joy to be able to sit and read such wonderful poetry for awhile today. Have a very good day Sharmila. Love, Carol
