Notes About The Poem

Unrequited Love

I have written you poems of perfection,
Baring my soul and undying affection…
I offered you all my worldly goods and possessions,
And expressed my regret and sorrow, in spite of your rejection.
I know we can’t go back, we have closed the door.
But you will be treasured in my heart forevermore.
